North Bridge and parade updates

Be sure to join us for Patriots’ Day but be aware of these important updates:

The North Bridge Fight Commemoration scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Monday, April 15, is cancelled this year because of recent flooding and current flooding conditions across the causeway.

The town of Concord’s annual Patriots’ Day parade is still scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on Monday and will include a ceremony at the North Bridge.

Street closures: Patriots’ Day Parade, Monday, April 15 From approximately 8 a.m. -12 p.m. all main roads and side streets entering town center will be closed Monday, April 15 for the Patriot’s Day parade; Main St/rt. 62 (closed at Thoreau St), Sudbury Rd (closed at Thoreau St), Walden St (closed at Heywood), Lexington Rd (closed at Heywood St), Old Bedford Rd/rt. 62 (closed at Bedford St), Monument St (closed at Liberty St), and Lowell Rd (closed at Barretts Mill Rd). Parking will be at Alcott school, Concord District Court, CCHS, or on-street parking outside the parade route. If you park in the Keyes Rd lot, Walden St municipal lot, or Old North Bridge lot you will not be able to leave till after the parade.
