The Connect Effect – How loneliness can influence health outcomes in our aging community.

This is a virtual event. Registration is required. Conference details will be sent to registrants.

Loss of social and family connections, chronic illness, mobility challenges and lack of transportation all contribute to loneliness in our senior population.

The current health crisis and social distancing contributes to this feeling of separation. During this virtual event, hear from our panelists how loneliness can impact mental and physical health, how to recognize the symptoms, and what resources are available. Caregivers encouraged to attend.

Panelists include:
~Sunita Hanjura, MD, Emerson Primary Care Associates of Bedford
~Robert Pacl, LICSW, Emerson Hospital, Care Transitions Social Worker
~Katharine Esty, PhD, Author, Social Psychologist and Psychotherapist
