ConcordPride is being celebrated for the  first time in Concord, MA  with joy and excitement and the intention of lifting  up the LGBTQIA community. Concord Pride demonstrates the town’s explicit commitment to affirming the lived experiences and celebrations related to the LGBTQIA+ community that take place annually during the month of June.

ConcordPride is a month-long series of events and activities sponsored by local organizations that provide fun and educational ways to learn and celebrate during the  month of June culminating in a weekend of festivities June 21-23.

ConcordPride Fest begins with a flag raising in Monument Square, a rally and march down Main St followed by events, music, crafts , entertainment and food throughout the  day in both Concord and West Concord. The event is fun, free, family friendly and welcomes all.

Join us for a screening of Living in Pryde, a powerful GBH documentary that follows residents of the first LGBTQ+-welcoming, affordable senior housing community in Hyde Park. Is this a model for the future? Would it be possible in our town? Stay for the panel discussion to explore these questions and more.

Grace and Elizabeth, A Life Together

Grace and Elizabeth, A Life Together, offers a unique opportunity to meet Grace Keyes, women’s golf champion and founding member of the Women’s Golf Association of Boston, and her life partner, Elizabeth Wentworth Roberts, artist, philanthropist, and founder of Concord Art, sharing the story of their remarkable life together.

This original living history piece was created by Concord history interpreters Amy Cole and Stefanie Cloutier, creators of Between Us Sisters, a conversation between Louisa May and her sister May Alcott.
