Music from the Library 2024: Robert Ward and Alexander Dunn, duo guitarists

Music from the Library, sponsored by the Friends of the Concord Free Public Library, presents three concerts in the library rotunda in its 2024 spring season: February 24, March 16, and April 20. All concerts are Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. The doors open at 7 p.m. The concerts are free, but reservations are required.

April 20 (Registration begins on April 6 at 9am)

Duo guitarists Robert Ward and Alexander Dunn perform works of Haydn, Beethoven, J.K. Mertz, and Antoine l’Hoyer. The artists are cousins, and they grew up making music together. Both attended the San Francisco Conservatory and the University of California, San Diego, are proteges of the world-famous Los Romeros, and have performed as a duo in the US, Mexico, and Canada in festivals, concerts, and concertos with orchestra.
