The Nature Connection is seeking volunteers to join our team in delivering therapeutic nature-based programing to: youth at-risk, individuals with disabilities, and elders (including those with dementia/Alzheimer’s). Monthly programs feature fresh plants, live animals, natural materials, and seasonal themes/content. Nature Connection programs puts nature into the hands of people in our communities that cannot go outside for a walk to clear their mind, enjoy the autumn colors, or listen to the birds.
Volunteer with The Nature Connection and help share nature’s capacity to heal, teach and create joy.
Volunteers join us for just 2 hours a month throughout the year, meeting us at our program sites throughout Greater Boston and Metrowest (visit our website to find program sites near you). This is a great opportunity for those with a strong appreciation for nature and animals, and would like to share it with others.
Volunteers are fully trained (volunteer training and program observation are required) and supported by staff. Must pass CORI check. Learn more, or sign up for an upcoming volunteer training on our website: www.nature-connection.org/volunteering/. Email Taylor at: firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
