Cambodia is home to Angkor Wat, built in the 12th century and known as the largest religious structure in the world. But those days of glory are long gone as the country struggles to recover from the Khmer Rouge genocide and social experiment in Communism during the 1970’s. The Sharing Foundation, founded by Concord pediatrician Nancy Hendrie, works in the villages of Cambodia serving the poorest people of the country. Visit the villages along the Mekong river and see where the hope for this country lies.
