Since 1999, Jan Turnquist has served as Executive Director of Louisa May Alcott’s Orchard House, where Little Women was written and set. Over 50 translations of Little Women have created world wide interest, leading Jan to share the Alcott legacy through her internationally acclaimed living history portrayals and through the Emmy award-winning documentary she wrote and directed, Orchard House, Home of Little Women, which airs on PBS.
