Oil and Acrylic Painters with Jill Pottle
LEVEL: All Levels
MEDIUM: Oil and/or Acrylic Paints
Tuesdays, April 13 – May 18, 2021
10:00AM – 1:00PM
Are you relatively new to painting? Or have you always struggled with the basic understanding of Color Theory? This class is for you! Through color mixing exercises and hands on painting, I will take you on a journey of why color works the way it does. Gain an understanding on how to: increase the richness of your pallet, build layers of color to create depth or how’s and why’s to put colors in relationship to each other. Students will work on a single subject over and over to see the differences in their pallet use. We will paint along and historical references will be used.
This class is hosted through Concord Center for the Visual Arts. For more info and to register, please visit concordart.org/education.
