The ancient practice of mindfulness, or present moment awareness, has been shown to increase health and wellness – and it can also be used to lower our biases and build conscious relationships across social differences. Continuing in March, this session will combine mindfulness, pranayama (breath work) and embodied engagement with slow-flow vinyasa to gently energize and then calm the body. Our focus will be on observing shifting inner awareness as we engage in practice together. Led by Dena Samuels, PhD, Educator specializing in Mindfulness-Based Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging.
