Looking to connect hands-on learning to big ideas? Students will access foundational design learning by creating their own Escape Room style lock codes. Escape room design is a fundamentally social process which taps design principles such as deduction, induction, design space, feedback loops, and more. Students will focus on practice as they explore examples and design their own lock code from start to finish. The course will require purchase of a programmable lock after the first session ($10 to $15) and optional purchase of other materials.
