This is my absolute favorite shop in the metro west area. Michal’s place is so tranquil and beautiful with such a variety of one of a kind objects and terrific price points. I gave my girlfriend a most stunning bowl that is truly a sculpture and she’s raving about it to all of her friends!! Please do yourself a favor and stop by for a wonderful experience.

I have been following Michal's work for a few years, since she was selling in art-fairs and home events. I am the happy owner of many of her beautiful pieces, and so are some of my friends and family - always delighted to get those as gifts, a perfect combination of modern and classy. The store is fantastic, an abundance of beauty and good vibes. Count on me as a frequent patron.

We recently had my great-grandmother's barrel back armchair chair reupholstered by Lawless and we couldn't be more thrilled with the result. This was a complicated antique piece and they nailed it. Their attention to detail is stunning; you can see in the photo how they matched up the pattern on the front and top of the seat cushion. They also delivered it to our house. This is not the first time we've turned to Lawless for our upholstery needs, and it won't be the last. No matter the job, they can handle it!

An incredible restoration of our empire sofa (in the most beautiful cognac leather) was followed by new cushions/slipcovers for a beloved sofa from 1980 which then led to a quick repair on a Danish mid-mod chair. Old furniture is gold and Lawless has the skill and vision to make it new again for the next generation.

Excellent experience! Shane and staff were an absolute pleasure to work with. They did a magnificent job reupholstering my mother's mid century modern sofas, which are family heirlooms and now look more beautiful than ever. From start to finish, they were incredibly helpful -- from selecting the perfect fabric to completing the job right on schedule. Shane was also extremely accommodating when it came to picking up and delivering the sofas. I can't recommend Shane and his company strongly enough.

Thank you Shane! You did a superb job refinishing a bar cart that was in dire need of a makeover. This piece has been in my family since the 50’s and my boyfriend offered to send it to Lawless as a gift to me. Like magic, my cart came back as if it were a new piece. I love it! Currently thinking of the next piece I can send over.
