Welcome to Fairbank and Perry, Concord’s unique fine jewelry studio and gallery!

We are an all-female designer-gemologist-goldsmith team creating everything we sell, on-site and with our own hands (and brains and hearts).  We show an ever-changing selection of original fine jewelry ready for sale in our open and airy gallery.  Rings are our specialty.

Enter our shop and you’ll notice that we’re not like other jewelry stores.  You’ll see jewelry with color, texture and substance… jewelry that is finely crafted, but not too fancy to be worn in real life.  You might hear a drill, or someone hammering.  She might be the one to greet you in a (gold)dusty apron.

It’s in our custom work that we really shine.  In fact, the majority of our business is creating one-of-a-kind pieces made to order.  We work primarily in 18 karat gold and platinum, sometimes silver and palladium, and offer most of our designs in multiple alloys.  You can bring your existing jewelry and gems for us to repurpose, or we can start from scratch and source a special gem just for you.

We enjoy the full spectrum of gemstones from agate to zircon, from rare natural-colored diamonds to more affordable lab-grown ones.  Rather than using the terms “precious” or “nonprecious”, we focus on the quality and beauty of each individual gem, hand-selecting those that are the best of their type, be it a sapphire or a garnet.

We are good listeners and happy to answer your questions about the art and practice of jewelry-making and jewelry-wearing.  We aim to help clients along the exciting road of custom jewelry design.  Consultations are free, and appointments are preferred.

Come in, look around, have a chat, and know that we won’t try to sell you anything you don’t want. (But you might find something you didn’t know you want.  It’s happened.)

I have worked with Geraldine for several years for jewelry for my wife. Not only are the prices reasonable for the amazing quality but Geraldine is always a pleasure to work with. I have bought both pieces "off the self" and also had some custom made. My wife loves all the work and is even have a ring made for me now. A truly unique place with superb quality!

I started working with Geraldine right around when COVID started. She was always warm and welcoming and went out of her way to help me create the perfect custom engagement ring for my partner. I am not someone who knew much about jewelry at all heading into this process and Geraldine was very helpful when it came to guiding me through different options and designs. When her shop closed due to the pandemic, Geraldine continued working closely with me - sending me sketches of possible designs based on things we found that I liked and staying in contact over email. I couldn't recommend her work more. The design we settled on was within my budget and very unique. My partner is frequently complimented on it and I feel good knowing I was able to work with Geraldine to create something special for her. Geraldine even checked in later to see how the proposal went and see if I needed to resize the ring. I'm not someone who writes reviews, but I really recommend her and will certainly be back when I am looking for jewelry in the future.

I love Fairbank and Perry so much...over the years, my husband and I have worked with them on various projects, from our initial wedding bands, to custom pieces for special occasions, including a men's bracelet for my husband's 40th birthday, finding a new stone for an inherited ring, and most recently, a redesign of my initial wedding band and engagement ring. My new ring is a beautiful nod to the original design, but more modern and practical at the same time, an important consideration for me given my work. The staff and jewelers at F&P are so warm and gracious and talented...it is a pleasure to work with them on special projects, and they are sensitive to both the emotional and budgetary aspects of any jewelry investment and spend. They've played a special role in our lives and hopefully will continue to do so!

We came down during 2020 to have an engagement ring made. We loved the time Selma spent with us designing a one of a kind ring with existing stones from other pieces my girlfriend had.
