“Staying Active through the Challenges of the Winter Season” In-Person at the COA

Join physical therapist Tami DeAngelis to learn about strategies to stay active through the winter! Due to COVID19, you have likely made changes to your activity and exercise behaviors. With the holiday season and the upcoming snow and ice, it is important to plan to maintain your physical activity and participation in an exercise program. Tami will discuss the critical ingredients of a good plan based on the US Department of Health and Human Services Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans. This presentation is appropriate for both non-exercisers and avid exercisers alike. Tami DeAngelis, PT, DPT, GCS is a Board Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist who has been in practice for more than 15 years, in Boston and now in Concord.
