CONCORD, MA – On Friday, October 26, 2018 at 8PM, award-winning singer-songwriter Ryan Montbleau and his band will headline the Umbrella Concert Series. An intimate performance with only 250 seats, the concert will be held at Nashoba Brooks School’s theatre, located at 200 Strawberry Hill Road in Concord, MA. A benefit for The Umbrella Community Arts Center, it will be preceded at 6:30PM by an 18+ pre-party special event for Gold-, Silver- and Bronze-ticketholders, with a catered dinner, beer & wine, and live opening music by a Berklee band, beginning at 6:30pm.
Winner of a Boston Music Award for vocals, and nominated for songwriting and performance awards by MTV and others,New England-based Montbleau earned a fervent fan following with songs like “75 and Sunny” and his breakthrough cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car,” the latter a Spotify smash with total streams now in excess of 14 million. With his new album, I WAS JUST LEAVING, Montbleau emerged as a nationally influential artist.
The concert is open to the public. Bronze, Silver, and Gold Premier benefit ticket options are available for a festive pre-concert party, with cocktail, dinner and live music. Limited General Admission tickets are available for the main concert-only.
The Concert Series supports The Umbrella Community Arts Center’s programming and mission to enrich lives and build a vibrant community through the arts. A major semi-annual event in Concord, the Series has also hosted such headliners as Old Crow Medicine Show, Lyle Lovett, Bruce Hornsby, Sara Bareilles, and Jewel among others.
