The World’s A Stage Players, Concord Players’ dedicated Shakespeare Troupe, presents the classic story of star crossed lovers. Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy gets a 1980’s reimagining as two young lovers find themselves caught between rival families in a deeply divided community. As tensions rise and loyalties are tested, Romeo and Juliet must navigate love, identity, and the expectations placed upon them. This fresh interpretation explores the enduring power of connection in a world determined to keep people apart. As we have for 14 years, we will be performing this show outdoors at the Concord Free Public Library. Admission is free.
