Contemporary art can be mystifying, but it doesn’t have to be! Each week we’ll see work by a different artist and learn about their inspiration, process, and technique. Then we’ll create our own response to the work, using themes and techniques that are similar to theirs. In this way, we’ll learn about new approaches as well as how to look at and think about the art that is being made right now. Our goal is to open up to new ways of thinking and making our own work.
