Many of us have stressful lives, amplified by the pandemic restrictions and the recent national election. Mindfulness has been proven to have a positive impact on stress and anxiety. The purpose of this course is to develop a personal practice that will result in you being able to stay in the present moment, which will help you to be a calmer, more relaxed person. Concord resident Ed LeClair has been a meditator for 30 years and has interned at the UMass Medical Center for Mindful Based Stress Reduction, taught meditation at CCHS adult education and founded a meditation Sangha 25 years ago which is still active today on Zoom. Please call the COA to register and receive your Zoom invitation. There is no charge for the eight classes on Dec. 3, 10, 17 and Jan. 7, 14, 21 and 28, 2021.
