As part of the 2018 Concord Festival of Authors, we present Wednesday Writing Workshops at Be Well Be Here! Michelle Hoover, head teacher of Grub Street’s successful Novel Incubator program, kicks off the program on October 3 with LESSONS FROM THE NOVEL INCUBATOR, an introduction to revision tactics from the early explorations of your manuscript to its final stages. On October 10, Professor Melissa Jean from the mindfulness studies and creative writing programs at Lesley University presents JOY, GRIEF, LOVE: BIG EMOTIONS IN CREATIVE WRITING. Marjan Kamali, celebrated author of Together Tea, explores WRITING HISTORICAL FICTION on October 17. In the final session of the series, Be Well Be Here founder and board member of the Friends of the Concord Free Public Library offers VOICE & TRUTH: INSIGHT INTO CHARACTER MOTIVATION on October 24th. All workshops are just a $15 suggested donation to Be Well Be Here, Concord’s non-profit creative mindful wellness center. Please visit BeWellBeHere.org/Events for detailed info, and call 978-203-2825 or email Lara@BeWellBeHere.org to register.
