In commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, please join the COA for this TedTalk by Dexter Dias, human rights lawyer. Racism thrives on your silence and apathy says Dias. Telling the story of a harrowing UK court case that spotlights the corrosive effects of injustice, Dias urges all of us to speak out and expose toxic myths about race in order to allow hope, change and justice to flourish. Following the TedTalk, an enhanced, video recording of Dr. King’s 1969 “I Have a Dream” Speech” will be shown and a discussion will be led by the COA’s Tian Close. Please call 978-318-3020 to sign up and receive your Zoom invitation.
