Main Streets Market & Cafe, one of the most popular restaurants in Historic Downtown Concord on Main Street, Concord, Massachusetts.
We are open EVERY day at 8am, serving 3 meals daily.
We feature a variety of food, including vegetables grown at our family farm & lots of delicious dishes for all three meals. The Bar & nightly Live Music make it the perfect spot in town to go even after dark! This quaint restaurant is in a historical brick building in the heart of Concord Center.
We are the 4th generation of The Anderson Family to own the building & have been serving food to locals and travelers from this location in Concord for over 100 years! 5th generation Andersons will likely be waiting on you during your visit to Main Streets.
Formerly L. Anderson and Sons & Andersons Market also known as “Andersons” or “The Market”, Concord’s grocery store and catering for the first 3 generations is now a sit down restaurant, Main Streets Market & Cafe.
So much history: Prior to serving food, The Grist Mill, which houses Main Streets, stored ammunition during the Revolutionary War in the 1700’s.

This was an amazing experience. I'll start with the only thing which is sort of negative in that it's a super popular place with limited inside seating and space. But other than that it was absolutely fantastic. The staff is amazing and went the extra mile to make sure myself and other guests were taken care of during an extremely busy time. The owner/manager definitely cares. The food was great and despite being busy came out hot and in a timely fashion. The portions are generous (so be prepared if you're wanting something small) and again the food is delicious. My 1 year old son had a great time being the door greater and the staff was super helpful in making sure a family with a child was taken again. We came from out of town and if we're back in the area we're definitely stopping here.

Great staff, super quick service and very helpful! When we ordered a sandwich to share, our waitress split it for us (without us asking) onto separate plates with fries and pickles which was really great. The inside was air conditioned and the food was delicious. There’s a bar inside, a pastry section and a full menu as well. No Wi-Fi if that’s what you’re looking for but otherwise, great!

Cozy cafe with delicious and unique pastries (fruity pebbles donut!). Lots of great options for breakfast and lunch - I have yet to come for dinner. It's very popular, but I like to come early when they open for a quieter, relaxing experience. The service is great and surprisingly fast for how busy the place tends to get!

Great ambience, definitely colonial cafe feel. Busy on a Saturday but not crazy.
Miso salmon was delicious, cooked perfectly, not overdone. Fish and chips were generous. In fact, all 4 items we got were generous. Avocado toast was excellent, as well as the turkey brie grilled cheese.

It's all about the atmosphere here. Never a more homey, cozy place to grab a bite to eat. Bikers love it after breaking a sweat, I'm a fan of their house blend coffee—organic beans ftw. Food is good, beer is good, but it's really all about that tavern feel. Also see Colonial Inn.

Ordered breakfast for take-out online while recently visiting the area from out-of-state. The food was ready on time, the pick-up was quick and easy, the order was accurate. Everyone in our party was very satisfied with their food, even after the 15-minute drive back to where we were staying. Looks like a nice little place. Not sure if/when I will be in the area again, but if I ever do return, I would certainly try to eat here again.

Wow wow wow! You must stop in for the grilled cheese with turkey, Brie, and fig jam. It was divine. Their tots are also cooked to a crispy perfection. Friendly staff, nice seating, and a great variety of food to choose from. Definitely stop in for a visit.

Had the pleasure of enjoying lunch here on a Monday afternoon. I'm surprised it was so busy but not after eating the delicious food. I had the beet salad with salmon, my husband enjoyed the salad, a friend the fish tacos and another friend the protein bowl. We also got cupcakes to go. Delightful little restaurant in the heart of Concord.
Parking note: know how to parallel park because it's all street parking.

They were really slammed so the service was not the best but it wasn't any of the staff or restaurants fault. The chili here is one of my favorites, not spicy but sweet and hearty I believe they put squash or pumpkin in there which is so tasty and adds a lot of flavor and texture. The best part of the chili is the sweet sugary cornbread they give you with it and it just works so well.

I love coming here for a quick bite to eat, sometimes the wait may be longer but I don't mind. It's worth it to support local businesses and shops. It's mostly in a timely manner and food portions are good as well as making good leftovers. Please support local businesses!

I stopped by on my way through Massachusetts and grabbed a coffee and delicious slice of red velvet cake. It was a nice stop on my road trip, but I foolishly left something behind, and called to find that an employee had found it and was keeping it safe. The manager went out of their way to mail it to me to save me a long trip, and I'm grateful they took the time to do that.

Went to Main Streets Market & Cafe and they were so accommodating as we first thought about sitting outside after they closed down the seating. Manager Jennifer was totally on board with it and was in the process of making it happen when one of our party members felt it too chilly. Instantly, the offer to come indoors was made and we were given the front window with an incredible view. Then our server, Eddie prepared a drink that wasn't even on the menu. The cornbread was warm and sweet and our entire party was satisfied with their choices of pot roast, a burger (with substitution) and a salad with salmon. Friendly and professional staff and excellent food. Love this place and we have one Happy Mother celebrating an early Mother's Day!

It was busy for brunch, I wish they took reservations, but oh well. The food and drinks arrived in a timely fashion and were delicious. We had a hard time flagging down the waiter again to get some salt and pepper shakers and order another round of drinks, but to be fair we didn't try hard enough and just made do.

Outdoor seating and delicious breakfast burritos. Heaters are set up, but seats are cold when temps are down in the 30s. Just bring a blanket and enjoy a quaint Concord Center setting.

Terrific venue, with well prepared bowls and entrees. We enjoyed the pulled pork mac and cheese and the seafood risotto: sizeable portions and delicious. The acai and rice bowls were both excellent.
The outdoor seating is very cozy, allowing for people watching. Service is polite, but be prepared to wait at this busy spot.

We had been to this place before COVID 19 a few times and we loved it. Inside seating near the bar in the top area of the restaurant is the best. During COVID 19, the experience was just as nice! Crowded on the weekend, just like any good place - but the wait wasn't too bad. Outdoor seating was plentiful and we'll spread out. Staff were friendly and attentive.
Food was delicious and affordable! Great variety of delicious and hearty food. Everything on the menu looks incredible - we got a Reuben sandwich and gyro this time around and both were so good. Top quality food and highest tier service.

This place is such a delight. Stopped here during a short adventure in Concord. Everyone was friendly. They have an outdoor seating that is well disinfected after each customer/s. The food was delicious!!!! Ordered the fried zucchini that’s grown from their garden. The artichoke chicken piccata was also tasty! I love that they incorporated the artichoke in the dish!
