Debra’s Natural Gourmet

My family has been customers of Debra’s Natural Gourmet from their first days in business, living about a mile away in West Concord. It’s still our go-to store, especially for the things that can’t be found reliably, or at all, anywhere else. I’ve moved to the Worcester county area, but shopping at Debra’s is part of my week. It’s where I buy such critical groceries as my beloved South River Miso, and a newly-discovered, and now favorite, vegan cheese. Sushi from Debra’s has become part of my time when I go to see my parents. And I’ve taken my son shopping here. It’s so amazing that the little health food store that this used to be, has grown so much and put West Concord on the map for such businesses. Edited for weird spelling errors that must have been autocorrected. P. S. It’s a relief that Debra’s son, Adam, has followed in her footsteps. I’ve always admired the all-hands-on-deck culture of this business.

I can’t believe how lucky I am to have this store only a mile from me. I love all the freshly prepared meals. Sushi, curry chicken salad, mana moose bites and non gluten cookies are my favorites. Any Supplements I could want or need and knowledgeable staff to give me advice for what to try. Our family is so much healthier because of the many good things Debra’s has for us. Debra has left a wonderful legacy for our community and beyond.

Whenever I am under the weather, I can count on Debra's to have the herbs and supplements I am seeking. They are incredibly helpful in making suggestions for natural healing. Their newer store front houses a great little cafe that serves delicious smoothies. If you want to try and lower your toxin exposure, consider shopping for their many health conscious options for cleaning and bathing.

I was in here yesterday, and Robin helped me. She was so gracious and kind, and helped me with all of my needs. Everytime I go in there everyone is so kind!

Huge selection usually with several options (brand, sizes, etc.). New refillery with lots of options from grains, spices/herb, pasta, coffee, tea, etc. Now, also with a prepared foods (sandwiches, soup, desserts, sushi/poke bowls, etc.) area with seating!

love this place. but today, i asked about smoothies, and the staff said a red and a pina colada smoothie were available to order. i’ve had the red and don’t like it, so i asked her for a pina colada. she finished, and it was pink. i asked if it was the pina colada, and she said yes. i checked out, doubting it a little, and when i drank it it was the red smoothie. i have a mild allergy strawberry allergy so as soon as i got it my throat started to tingle, and it tasted exactly like the red smoothie i’ve previously had.not a big deal, just annoying and would still recommend

A treasure trove of good health & energy. Customer service is always outstanding. Great place for groceries- especially for any food sensitivities. I always plan to grab lunch or a snack because they have unique and delicious ready-made dishes. And treats! They have wonderful supplements that can’t be found elsewhere. The folks there are great about recommendations, the products are high quality, and really work. Always a good experience.

High quality organic vegetables and fruits, sourced locally. Delicious, home made soups. The best hair care and house cleaning products, too. I am very happy Debras is pulling through the current pandemic because there is no food store that compares. Making an effort to prioritize Debra's.

Very friendly and helpful service and you’ll get stuff that you don’t normally find in other alternative Health food stores. For sure the produce can be a bit pricey. They do have delicious vegan lunches to go.

Nice market with a good vibe, well stocked, staff was friendly & helpful. There's a good selection of fresh produce and premade food if you're looking for a quick meal. They had plenty of vegan options and prices were decent, we tried the blackened tofu wrap, happy vegan sandwich, dolmas, and raw macaroons and everything was delicious. Easy street/meter parking, gender neutral bathroom.

I was impressed with spices in bulk allowing me to select as little or as much I I wanted to place inside my own plastic bag.

Debra's is a wonderful natural and organic foods store located in the heart of Concord Ma. They have a great selection of products and fresh produce as well as ready to eat food that they make in house. They offer food and groceries that fit most dietary preferences and items that are hard to find in large chain grocery stores. You must try their homemade organic desserts, especially their peanut butter chocolate squares. I nearly died and went to heaven when I had my first bite. Definitely check them out if you're in the area!

A couple few years back I road tripped a wide swath of the US. I was in search of the best health-food store in the US. I found it. Debra's Natural Gourmet in Concord, MA. I still can't believe how great this little store is. But it is real. I was there. I enjoyed the daily fresh soups and sandwiches made right in front of your eyes. They really opened my eyes here. The Bruce Freeman trail is right nearby. I rode it. Walden Pond is not far away. I visited it. But twice a day I visited Debra's. I got all my meals there. The staff was so very friendly and welcoming there.

My wife and I are thinking of moving to the area and this store could be the reason why we end up in this location. In other words— she loved it. It’s bigger than it appears, and there is a wild selection of top quality foods. Would highly recommend checking the store out. It has a lot to offer!! Kind workers too!!

This place has a great selection of organic foods especially off-season when you don’t have a farmstand to get to. And you’re sick of supporting Amazon. They have unusual organic stuff like organic canned pineapple! Love that. Sometimes the staff can be a little grumpy. But there are not that many choices for this kind of selection around here other than Whole Foods

I love this store. They carry fantastic products. Their customer service is top notch and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Great prepared foods as well. Great alternative to Whole Foods. Try the Ethiopian stew!

This place is incredible! Such a wide variety of local and organic food, their selection is unmatched. The strawberry shortcake is Incredible and so are all of their soup options.

Felt safe inside Debras. They sanitize baskets and only allow 10 people at a time. They all have masks and do on line ordering and pick up.

Simply the best Lunch spot in West Concord. Prices are slightly on the higher side but you definitely get what you pay for. This place only caries the best and most wholesome food products and produce. You can tell the love and passion of the people that work here. The store is known for the wide selection of organic goods, deli, and food you can eat there or takeaway. I was on a mission to find a very specific vegan butter. Instead of winging it and going to the store (which would have been going to my fourth store to find this butter), I called and asked if they had it in stock. Fortunately, it was! Once I got in the store, an employee quickly assisted me and shared that it was a fantastic butter indeed. Upon walking through the rest of the store, there’s plenty of Walden Co. Meats, various organic fresh and canned vegetables, cheeses, and other grocery items. Debra’s also has an assortment of vitamins, supplements, and prepared food. I would love to come here for lunch one day and check out the rest of the store!! She also hosts a variety of different events, such as making your own face cream, book discussion, and making bath bombs.
