Prefect outdoor place. Low stress guidance by staff. Honest suggestions to ski, snowshoe or just enjoy a walk.

This is the best (and one of the only) places for nordic skiing anywhere near Boston. The trails are very well groomed and there are choices for all ability levels. Flat fields, rolling meadows and more challenging woods trails. For me, the trails in the woods are the best. There is nothing like skiing on groomed trails while in the middle of the forest. While you can't warm up in the barn afterwards, they do have a great selection of rental equipment.

This is an easy, low-stress, and inexpensive way to introduce small children to skiing and snow sports. The rental gear is in good shape and ranges in size all the way down to a toddler size 9 shoe. The trails are well groomed and easy to follow, and the scenery is beautiful. There is even night skiing by lantern light during the week! There are lots of beginners as well as practiced skiers, tons of babies and children on skis and in sleds.

Great place to xc ski! $13 for an adult. Variety of trails. I love the woodchuck trail! Lots of fun. Some parts smell like a farm because it’s right next to a farm! Great spot for coffee and sandwiches right down the road at Ferns Country Store - they have George Powell coffee.

Great trail options here for all levels, just make sure to come when there are good conditions and plenty of snow. The rental section has a large selection and even on a crowded day it moves fast and easily with plenty of equipment. Not to mention that it is also affordable compared to other locations I have checked out.

Fabulous rustic night skiing lit by kerosene lanterns. They did a fantastic job getting the trails open for Tuesday 2/19/2019. With only 3 or so inches of snow, almost everything was open. They even managed tracks everywhere I went. Go today 2/20/19 before the warm rain tomorrow.
