First time visiting and couldn’t ask for a better experience. I visited today in hopes of buying a few flies and maybe get some advice and the staff was outstanding. I actually worked with Andy (owner) directly and he took the time to genuinely inquire where and how I was fishing. He encouraged me to go grab my fly box from my car so he could see what I had so as to not oversell me on anything. I didn’t think I would be able to get this kind of service for such a small order but boy was I wrong. He even cracked open a shipment of new flies to check if there was an egg pattern I was looking for. This place is outstanding!

I walked out w tips on how to get the most from my go to rod and a recommendation on where to fish and stay on the Farmington. Can’t wait to get there and see my new flies at work. I went there when I first started learning to fly fish, and the staff there spent several hours walking me through gear, techniques, and showing me on a map where to fish on the local rivers. As I've started to learn more and can catch fish in many of the local rivers, Andy and the staff still continues to be a wealth of information and I never leave there without knowing something new and most importantly - useful. I've purchased more than I can remember from the shop including special orders, and the orders have always shown up quicker than expected. Highly recommended for any of your fly fishing needs (or wants).
