We carry the largest selection of lampshades in New England with an inventory of more than 2,000 shades in a variety of shapes, sizes, colors, trims, and styles. Our trained professionals can assist you in finding the perfect lamp or designing a lampshade to fit any décor. Our handcrafted lampshades can be made using a wide selection of fabrics, nautical and aeronautical charts or your own design fabrics.
Drawing on inspiration from around the world, we offer a selection of custom-designed table lamps made exclusively in our workshop in Concord, MA. Concord is the best. Great communication and fabulous craftmanship! I had a very expensive Frederick Cooper shade that isn't made anymore. The lining had dry rotted and I really didn't want to buy a generic shade; I wanted mine restored. Concord replaced the lining and it looks brand new. Amazing that they could do this. Any future work is definitely going to Concord.

I recently had a lovely Frederick Cooper fringed shade repaired, the lining was all torn.
I am overjoyed with Concord’s incredible craftsmanship and their attention to detail on the interior and exterior of the shade.
The repaired shade is absolutely exquisite.

Purchasing from Concord Lamp & Shade has been a great experience and I would highly recommend them. I purchased two lampshades months apart. Both lampshade purchases were completed virtually. On both occasions, I worked with Ann to ensure the final product was exactly what I wanted. She sent me fabric samples and trims to choose from after describing to her the lamps and the shade ‘look’ that I was trying to achieve. Both lampshades met all of my expectations and the quality was excellent. Highly recommend!

I have a 40-year old lamp with an odd sized shade. The old silk shade had become really torn and ratty, and, after looking at this lamp for 40 years, I just couldn't bring myself to buy a ready-made shade in the wrong size. Ann at Concord Lamp & Shade offered me options, and we went with refurbishing the shade's original frame and recovering it in similar fabric. I HONESTLY CAN HARDLY TELL THE DIFFERENCE FROM THE ORIGINAL SHADE! Concord's operation is top notch: professional, detailed, and truly custom. I simply could not be happier. (And many thanks to Ann, who was ultra helpful!)

Excellent. They go out of their way to help you. I wanted to match two silk drum shades that had rotted from old age. They did. It's a small shop and full of lamps and shades, but they can order custom made shades too. The clerk was very pleasant even with a store full of people waiting on a Saturday. I highly recommend them and hope someday they open a shop in Concord, NH!

Denise helped me pick out shades for 2 pair of lamps - she was great! She really "gets" the customer she is working with and is very knowledgeable helpful. Small shop so best not to be in a hurry if you just walk in...suggest making an appointment. I will def go back for any future lamp needs!

It was wonderful dealing with this company. My favorite Waterford lamp shade's inside lining became ripped. The proprietor, Ann Eckert, was a delight and answered my questions and gave me alternatives to replace or reline the shade. She quoted me the prices for both alternatives in a detailed email that explained the work that would be needed to be done.. I choose to reline the lamp shade.
The work was completed and shipped back to me when promised.
I could not be more pleased with the result. It looks like a brand new lamp.

Ann always offers wonderful service. I stopped by for a new lamp shade, a purchase quickly made, and then discussed a table lamp I am considering that can be custom-wired to my specifications, which was something I did not know I could do. I have bought a number of fixtures from her over the years, and brought lamps for re-wiring to her shop. I have referred many friends and associates to the store, too. Lovely place to do business, and professional service always.

Excellent experience! We made an appointment to get some help selecting a shade for a special lamp that has been handed down in our family over the years. Our salesperson was very courteous, patient and knowledgeable, with several terrific suggestions that led to the perfect choice, along with an attractive new finial. The price was right, and as a result of the new shade, the room where we put the lamp has taken on a completely new, very special appearance. We could not be happier with the help we received and the shade that we purchased. (Considerable thought had gone into this shop's COVID precautions, and they ended up working very effectively. We had the shop to ourselves for 15 minutes!)

My cloth lampshade was ripped. Ann explained it couldn’t be repaired but explained my options for replacing it. We quickly and efficiently chose a new fabric and color that closely resembled the original, at a very reasonable price. I initiated my relationship with Concord Lamp & Shade via their online form. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting a response. But I got one, and a personalized one, full of information, right away! Ann taught me a lot about my grandparents lamp during our email correspondence, then offered to take a look at the shade if I mailed it to her. That was mid-January. I never sent it. A month went by and I called them. The message said I could make an appt online. So I did. I went yesterday. The shop is bright (as you’d expect) but it **felt** bright, too. Ann gave me all kinds of advice about how to improve my lamp (who knew?!) and when I told her my name for the work ticket, she recognized it. That was a beautiful feeling, too! Truly, this is the only place I have trusted to work on this lamp (I checked out a few shops when we lived in the Chicago area). Thanks, Ann!

I'm so glad I found this shop! The service is top notch, they are very knowledgeable and repaired my floor lamp for a very reasonable price. It's difficult to find anywhere that repairs lamps. I love my floor lamp and was thrilled to find Concord Lamp & Shade does repairs. The website works perfectly for scheduling appointments and is extremely easy. This is now my go to shop for all things lamps.

Even with the Covid restrictions in place, they are great to work with. The web site for appointments to drop, shop or pickup is straight forward and easy to use.
I had two lamps in for repair and couldn't be happier with their work. Good parts and a great repair experience.
Enjoyed working with them. The make these wonderful nautical map lampshades that are so nice I purchased one for St.Johns in the Virgin Islands.

Customer Service was wonderful, the women were very helpful in choosing my lampshade on a Bleek Base I bought in Ireland many Years ago. The little art piece at top of lamp fits perfectly on color match.

Our nice living room lamp (one of a pair) was not working. So I took it to Concord Lamp for repair. It was fixed and ready for pickup a week later, as promised. They said it just needed a new socket, possibly because a non 3 way bulb was used instead of the 3 way bulb needed. So we are back in business again, with nice bright light. We will be sure to always use 3 way bulbs. Thank you!!

I went to Concord Lamp & Shade to replace two lampshades. I left with a beautiful (albeit expensive) lamp and an order for a new shade. The sales woman was extremely helpful. When the shade came in the seam looked a little frayed. The store owner had the company make another one for me and let me use the less than perfect shade while we waited for the new one. (this was during the quarantine).
I appreciated the good service and would recommend this store.

For a small shop, there is an amazing selection of lamps and shades; Ann is knowledgeable and helpful, and the repair business is excellent. Most recently my visits were by appointment and followed CV-19 protocol. All went smoothly.

We were able to customize the shades to match our decor and consult on the measurements of the shade. In this time it's difficult to shop for replacement shades but Concord made it easy. I've been going there for many years because they know their products.
