Concord Conservatory of Music

Concord Conservatory of Music (CCM) offers students of all ages a positive outlet for their creativity and energy. Whether young or older, approaching music study for the first time, or revisiting a love from long ago, the benefits from music education are yours to grab.

We take students’ interests seriously and strive to help them grow as people who understand and appreciate music—and love to play.

Rigorous Private instruction and the Music Achievement Program (MAP)—Registering for lessons at the CCM promises membership into a supportive community led by expert faculty. Develop your kids as well as your musicianship through individual instruction, workshops, masterclasses, and numerous performance opportunities—all included in your private lesson tuition.

Private, 1:1 instruction provides an excellent opportunity to learn to play an instrument or continue building on existing knowledge and skills. Private lessons are offered in banjo, bass, cello, clarinet, composition, flute, guitar, improvisation, mandolin, percussion, piano (classical and jazz), saxophone, theory, trumpet, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.

The CCM Music Achievement Program (MAP), a free enrichment curriculum available to private lesson students, provides access to broader and more comprehensive music education. MAP enhances a student’s experience by increasing their musical fluency and engaging them with other students, their audiences, and various genres of music. Discover what CCM provides to students beyond their exceptional private lessons.

Each month, CCM provides a new and thrilling playlist that can be found on both Spotify and YouTube, which can be accessed from the CCM website. In addition to sharing a monthly playlist of diverse and exciting songs, the CCM website will also have background information on each piece and questions to think about while you’re listening. Anyone can receive monthly alerts by signing up. https://concordconservatory.org/newsletter/

CCM Concert & Lecture and American Roots Series—We bring world-class performers and renowned music education to our community with affordable ticket prices. CCM presents classical, jazz, bluegrass, and other genres to our local community every year. Lectures are given by experts in their field, who engage participants and foster exciting conversations.

Singing with Parkinson’s— A chorus-based opportunity to participate in voice therapy through song. Singing with Parkinson’s focuses on vocal fitness while offering people coping with the disease a chance to sing together, perform in the community, and build new friendships. Breathing, stretching, posture, and vocal exercises are taught in a supportive, congenial environment.
