Organization Overview
Founded in 1947 as an organization of neighbors helping neighbors, the mission of the Concord-Carlisle Community Chest is to engage our community to help neighbors in need. Local businesses and individuals share with us their philanthropic gifts of time, expertise, and financial resources. We translate that support into essential aid for nonprofit human service organizations serving residents in Concord and Carlisle.

Volunteering with the Community Chest or one of the organizations we support is a wonderful way to enrich the community we love.

Volunteer

Since its founding in 1947, the Community Chest has been a volunteer-driven organization. Without our volunteers, our fundraising, special events, and community work simply would not be possible. Each year, hundreds of individuals give of their time and talents to help make a difference in our towns—and it shows!

We welcome help from students as well! High school students may receive community service credit by volunteering at the Community Chest.
