DO YOU WORK WITH AN ORGANIZATION OR COMPANY SERVING CONCORD RESIDENTS?
The Town of Concord’s Sustainability Division is hosting a workshop for partners in climate resiliency and sustainability. The workshop is designed specifically for organizations who serve Concord to learn how climate change will impact the people you serve and to learn how to speak about climate change in a way that is clear and actionable for your group.
As a participant in this workshop, we will help you to:
- Identify how resilience and sustainability align with your organization’s mission and priorities.
- Pinpoint where coordination and collaboration with the Town and others are possible.
- Learn how to speak about climate change and resiliency in a non-technical manner.
- Make plans on how to get involved.
The Town of Concord is taking action on climate by both reducing our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and preparing for the changes associated with new and extreme weather patterns. We have already experienced climate shifts here in Concord in the form of more frequent and intense extreme storms, heavy rainfall, and increased periods of drought. Preparing for these changes together will help us to be more resilient.
