Love, passion, tenderness, jealousy, political scheming, lechery, treachery, revenge – a full palate of emotions for Giacomo Puccini to paint with his uniquely expressive music and memorable melodies in Tosca, consistently among the ten most-often-performed operas worldwide. Continuing Opera51’s presentations of Puccini’s immensely popular dramatic works, this coming June we will stage four performances of this masterpiece. Performed in costume with full orchestra on 51 Walden’s drama stage, Tosca will be sung in Italian with projected English titles.
