October 28, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

- Free

“The Salem Witch Trials in a Nutshell” is a basic introduction to the real (not metaphorical) witch hunts, the basic facts of what really happened. Marilynne K. Roach is a researcher, free-lance writer, illustrator, and presenter of talks on historical subjects. She has written two books about the Salem witch trials – Six Women of Salem and The Salem Witch Trials – that are considered to be the most complete accountings of the Salem witch trials ever written. She is a leading scholar in this field of study and delivers the stories with compelling details and clarity. Join us on Thursday, October 28th at 2:00 PM. This will be a hybrid presentation, Marilynne will be joining by Zoom, and will be projected on the large screen at the COA. There will be plenty of time for questions following the presentation. This presentation is sponsored by the Harvey’s Treasure Chest Gift Shop and is free of charge. Please call the COA office to register for the event at 978-318-3020.
