Join First Connections for a guided storywalk of the bilingual Spanish/English book “The Kite Festival” by Leyla Torres on Friday, May 6 at 2:00 at Rideout Park, 61 Laws Brook Rd., Concord. The book tells the story of a family in Columbia who visit a nearby park and realize when they arrive that there is a kite festival going on. Kites are all sold out in the stores, so the family successfully uses what they have with them to make their own kite!
