This year marks the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower’s arrival in Plymouth Harbor! Join Linda MacIver as she examines the early and final history of the Mayflower and the ship’s connections to the county of Essex (England) including the ship’s captain and signers of the Mayflower Compact. Serving as the New England Representative for the Essex England Record Office, Linda brings a unique perspective to the event that brought ancestors of more than 30 million Mayflower descendants around the world to these shores. Before her retirement from the Boston Public Library as Genealogy Specialist, Linda inaugurated the patron genealogy classes.
