The Rasmussen Education Center Open House will be an autumn feast for all ages – and for all five senses!
See some of the highlights of the Concord Museum’s collection, listen to stories about the town’s rich history, and hear performances from local musicians. Smell what’s cooking over the Museum’s new reproduction hearth, and taste some of the delicious treats for sale by local businesses. Express your creativity through a variety of hands-on activities: make a sun-catcher, write in Revolutionary secret code, or learn about weaving fabric from a local artist. FREE.
The public is invited to tour the new building which contains a History Learning Center to facilitate learning directly with historical objects, three classrooms, and the Community Lyceum – a large meeting hall that will host Museum programs as well as meetings with other community groups.
