In 1668, merchant and ship-owner John Turner built a house on Salem Harbor that was destined to become one of America’s most beloved historic homes. Designated a National Historic Landmark District in 2007, the House is best know today as the setting of world-renowned American author Nathaniel Hawthorne’s 1851 novel. Join Julie Arrison, the community engagement director at The House of Seven Gables, for a virtual visit to this famed house. The visit includes a pre-recorded tour of the house, using professional photography and video to show the spaces, a question and answer period and a conversation with the audience. Please call the COA, 978-318-3020, to reserve your spot and receive your Zoom invitation.
