Expired or unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications, vitamins and supplements should never be ingested or disposed of by flushing them down the toilet or a drain. Our wastewater treatment systems are not designed to treat these substances. This is a great opportunity for Concord residents to clean out their medicine cabinets and bring all expired or unwanted medications for proper disposal. Keep our community safe by keeping medications out the hands of children and out of our environment.
