Concord Promise is launching casual round-table talks for any and all parents interested in sharing ideas, thoughts, concerns, and strategies about smartphone and social media usage among kids. Our casual round-table talks will take place seasonally, and will be open to the public. Our first round-table talk will be held on Tuesday, May 22 at 9:30 a.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room at the Hunt Gym (90 Stow St). We’ve all read the articles and we’ve all been to the lectures given around town by countless experts, but how often do we just listen to each other – the ones actually in the trenches? We want to get everyone in the room for respectful discussion. No experts, no speakers, just us – the ones slogging it out with the kids, day after day. Come to talk. Come to listen.
