Concord Chamber Music Society

The Concord Chamber Music Society will present its first concert of the new year at 1:30 pm on January 8, 2023, at the Concord Academy Performing Arts Center. CCMS Founder and Director Wendy Putnam will be joined by guest artists including Glenn Dicterow, former Concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic, Violist Karen Dreyfus and Cellist Inbal Segev. The program will include the Duet for Two Violins after the Piano Sonata in A Major, K. 331 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the String Trio No. 3 in G major, Op. 9 No. 1 by Ludwig van Beethoven, Oswaldo Golijov’s profoundly moving work Tenebrae (2002) for String Quartet, and the String Trio by innovative French 20th-century composer and naval officer, Jean Cras.

Tickets are available from $42-$67 and may be purchased by visiting concordchambermusic.org or calling (978) 405-0130. A limited number of $20 student tickets are also available for purchase. Parking in Concord Center is available on Walden and Main Streets, in the lot adjacent to the Concord Free Public Library and in municipal lots behind Middlesex Savings Bank and the Post Office. 51 Walden is a short walk from the Concord stop on the MBTA’s Fitchburg commuter rail line from North Station and Porter Square. Full vaccination as currently prescribed by the CDC is strongly recommended at the performance, and masking will be mandatory while on the premises.
