Xanadu, Jr, a stage musical presented by the Concord Middle School, tells the story of Kira, a magical Greek muse who comes from Mount Olympus to Venice Beach, California to inspire a local artist named Sonny in his quest to create the first roller disco. Based on the 1980 film starring Olivia Newton-John, the show features music by Newton-John, Electric Light Orchestra, Cliff Richard, and the Tubes. Xanadu, Jr will be performed at the Sanborn building of Concord Middle School on Friday March 3 at 7:00 pm , Saturday March 4 at 7:00pm and Sunday March 5 at 2:00pm.
