Verrill Farm To Host A Taste for Something Good on October 20
The Oktoberfest-themed evening of food, friends and German wine tasting to benefit Household Goods and the families it serves.

September 20, 2018 – On Saturday, October 20, Verrill Farm hosts A Taste for Something Good: Oktoberfest & German Wine Tasting to benefit Household Goods Inc., the Acton-based nonprofit organization that provides a full range of donated furniture and household items, free of charge, to help people in need make a home.

When: Saturday, October 20, 6:30pm-9pm
Where: Verrill Farm, 11 Wheeler Road, Concord
Tickets: Open to the public, with all ticket proceeds to benefit Household Goods. Tickets are $65 and can be purchased online at http://householdgoods.org/taste.

Details: The tent and fields at Verrill Farm are the backdrop for an Oktoberfest-themed evening featuring fine food, German wine tasting, and live music by the FRS Jazz Band. A silent auction will also be offered. Guests can sample fine red and white German wines and enjoy assorted hors d’oeuvres and gourmet cheeses. An open bar serving wines and beer, plus delicious desserts, chocolates and gourmet coffee round out the evening’s offerings.
