The library has participated in CREW’s (Communities Responding to Extreme Weather) Climate Preparedness Week since 2019. This year’s theme, Community Maxxing: Think Globally, Act Locally, highlights the many ways our community can take action on climate change.

Join Brad Dye and Brad Hubbard-Nelson of Concord’s Climate Action Committee to learn about the process currently underway to update Concord’s original 2020 Climate Action and Resilience Plan (CARP). The plan provides a framework for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and building resilience to the impacts of climate change. Find out what Concord has and hasn’t accomplished and learn about proposed priorities for the next five years. Most importantly, share your input! The Climate Action Committee wants to hear what climate efforts matter to you and welcomes your feedback.
