The Concord Players are pleased to present live theater with Mary Chases’s Pulitzer Prize winning comedy “Harvey”.
Elwood P. Dowd is a middle-aged, somewhat eccentric, amiable man whose best friend is an invisible 6 foot tall rabbit named Harvey. To preserve the family reputation, Elwood’s younger sister, Veta, turns to the staff at the local sanitarium to have Elwood committed, yet she becomes so hysterical explaining her brother’s condition that she ends up being committed instead. Elwood, completely unbothered, wanders away from the sanitarium grounds, turning the town upside down as everyone goes on the lookout for him and his invisible sidekick.
Performance dates: February 18, 19, 24, 25 & 26 at 8:00 pm with matinees on February 20 & 27 at 2:00 pm.
The Concord Players follow the current Covid-19 protocols as outlined by the Town of Concord.
