American Art from the 18th to 20th Centuries – IN PERSON This is a seven-week DVD Series presented by Janice Muir onTuesdays, June 15th, 22nd and 29th; July 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PMIn this summer DVD session, we will explore American artists from John James Audubon and James McNeill Whistler to Alexander Calder, Romare Bearden and Roy Lichtenstein. We will look at paintings, sculptures, mobiles, and collages all created by Americans. June artists include Audubon, William Merritt Chase, Frederic Edwin Church, Winslow Homer, Thomas Moran and John F. Peto.
