Little Women may be one of the most famous and beloved novels of all time, but even if you haven’t seen the movies or read the book, the world of Louisa May Alcott and her family will fascinate and enthrall during this walking tour of charming Concord, MA. As Louisa’s home for many years, we’ll explore some of the places in Concord she would have been familiar with, along with a few renowned names she knew simply as her friends and neighbors.
From her unusual childhood, to the first publishing of Little Women, to the eventual masses of adoring fans, go behind the scenes with L.M. Alcott while she navigates her every day world of family, frustrations, love, humor, and loss. Through stories, letters, and journal entires of those who knew her best, discover the “real” little women that inspired the book that has delighted generations!

#Availability: Available for a limited time this winter, The Real Little Women walking tours will run daily @ 1:00 pm beginning on December 26th through Sunday, January 5th, and depart from the front parlor of Concord’s Colonial Inn. Tickets on sale now at www.concordtourcompany.com
#Tour Details: The Real Little Women walking tour is roughly 50 minutes in length and appropriate for all ages. The route covers about a mile and a half through historic Concord, beginning at Concord’s Colonial Inn and ending at Author’s Ridge, and takes place on mostly level sidewalks with one steep but short hill. Tours run rain, shine, or (reasonable amounts of) snow, so please dress appropriately.
