Get Ready to Run!

Rain or shine – get ready to run at the Thoreau School’s 12th Annual Road Race, Sunday, May 20, 2018. As the school’s biggest fundraiser of the year, this community-wide event celebrates Concord spirit, fitness, and health. Bring the whole family to run, walk, jog or stroll with us. The 5K run starts at 10:00 am and Kids’ runs (.5 and 1 mile) begin at 11:30 am and are followed by a family BBQ, bouncy house, awards ceremony, and more.

All events take place at and around the Thoreau School, 29 Prairie St, West Concord. Pre-register by April 30 to guarantee yourself a sporty race shirt. Registrations are accepted the day of the race starting at 9:00 am. 5K: $25 pre-race ($30 race day). Kids’ races: $15. All proceeds benefit the Thoreau Parent Teacher Group (PTG). The PTG supports curricular-enriching programs that foster a love of learning and enrichment in the Thoreau community.
