The aim of this fun workshop is to introduce students to a variety of printmaking methods that can be used as a vehicle to express and communicate ideas in different ways.

Each day we will introduce a different technique: drypoint, collagraph, linocut, woodcut, and monotype, and students will have an opportunity to combine methods and explore creative ink applications to achieve unique variations. Kate will show examples, both historical and contemporary, to stir imaginations. Students will become comfortable and familiar with these new techniques and with printing on our new press.
