Important- There will be a town meeting Thursday August 11, 7pm to consider the development of 6 new houses adjacent to the wetland that includes a Great Blue Heron rookery by white pond. See the photo below of this wetland if you are unfamiliar with it. According to the proposed terms of the development, it is only supposed to be approved if it’s a net win for the town of Concord. This is the same developer who recently built the adjacent Cold Brook Crossing. Below is a photo of the wetland of concern.
We cannot allow any more development at the pond which encroaches on the already comprised wild life habitat. Want to preserve the pond? Then please attend this meeting.
