CYT’s Young Adult Company will perform Urinetown, The Musical July 12th-14th at 7:30 p.m. and July 15th at 2:30 p.m. In a dystopian future where people must pay a malevolent company in order to urinate, this darkly funny musical features a naïve young man who plans a revolution to lead his community to freedom. No one is safe from hilarious satire, as the show takes on the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, populism, bureaucracy, corporate mismanagement, municipal politics and musical theatre itself.
