The Concord Orchestra is composed of 70 musicians living in Concord, Massachusetts and the greater Boston metropolitan area. Richard Pittman, the versatile founder and music director of Boston Musica Viva, has been the music director and conductor of the Concord Orchestra since 1969.
The orchestra was founded in 1953, making 2017-2018 our 65th season.
Our season consists of three regular concerts performed in the fall, winter, and spring, a family concert in December, and Pops concerts in May. Concerts are held at The Performing Arts Center at 51 Walden in Concord.
