CONCORD AG DAY IS NOW CONCORD AG WEEK!
15TH ANNUAL CONCORD AG
DAY WEEK: September 8 – 12th, 2020
Concord’s Agriculture Committee hosts the 15th annual Ag Day as Concord Ag Week this year! While we are not having our annual Ag Day market because of Covid-19, fun agricultural events are going on at farms around town! It’s the best time of year to visit our beautiful farms, and while you’re there take a picture of yourself to enter into our raffle!
FARM IN PERSON AND VIRTUAL EVENTS: 2020
Visiting farms during the growing season will give you a feel for the range of Concord farms—varying in size, land ownership, and farm practices. Meet several Concord farmers and take a look behind their farm stands! A PSA for in person event/tours: Events often require walking on rough (dusty) farm roads and may include encounters with unfriendly weeds and stinging insects – good footwear (not sandals) is suggested, and folks with allergies to bees or wasps should take appropriate precautions. We hope to see you soon!
Marshall Farm will be open 9am-6pm and selling their own pasture raised chicken raised especially for Ag Week! Pastured chicken is raised outside, on grass pastures with plenty of space to roam and forage for bugs, worms, grasses and seeds. Whole Birds, Breasts, Thighs, Drums and wings available. 171 Harrington Avenue
