Building the Community We Want: Standing Together Against Bias and Hate

January 27 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

An Interactive Evening of Learning, Reflection, and Conversation

Join neighbors from Concord and Carlisle for an interactive evening of learning, reflection, and conversation about what it means to show up for one another. Together, we will explore how our community is confronting bias and hate—and how collaboration across schools, organizations, and neighbors can strengthen this work.

The evening will feature brief spotlights from local organizations engaged in social justice efforts across Concord and Carlisle, followed by a presentation from Facing History & Ourselves, An Introduction to Confronting Contemporary Antisemitism. This session offers a behind-the-scenes look at the professional learning Concord and Concord-Carlisle Public School educators have been participating in this year through their partnership with Facing History & Ourselves. A community Q&A will close the program, creating space for shared reflection and dialogue.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in thoughtful conversations, learn about meaningful work already underway, and share insights that can help shape how our school communities move forward— together.
