“Chi Mangia Solo” is a 2026 dramatic short film written and directed by Francesco Aram Zenati, starring Victoria Pedretti and Philip Ettinger. The 16-minute film follows an estranged brother and sister who reconnect in their childhood home to cook their late mother’s favorite recipe the night before selling the house. Its title references the Italian proverb “Chi mangia solo, muore solo” (“Who eats alone, dies alone”). The film was written and filmed in Concord including at the Umbrella Arts Center.
